An Expectation of Hope

Expect hope to be rekindled.

Expect your prayers to be answered in wondrous ways.

The dry seasons in life do not last.

The spring rains will come again.

I have faced times in my life where I had little hope of my own happiness.

Still…Despite my lack of faith the spring rains have always come again.

Seeing this time and again, I am learning to expect hope to be rekindled.

That expectation is changing everything in me.

Guess my expectation are too low these days, ‘eh?

((hugs)) It’ll come. *smiles*

I’m not sure why, but this flashed in as I read this:

“The way to sustain happiness is to create it for ourselves and share it with others.”

I think I’ve often been guilty of expecting someone else to create my happiness for me. Hmmmmm…..will be thinking about that.

love and hugs xxx

The state of mind which enables a man to do work of this kind is akin to that of the religious worshiper or the lover; the daily effort comes from no deliberate intention or program, but straight from the heart. Photobucket
